Princess Naveda

Chapter 1

The Plump Little King

Princess Naveda has black hair and white skin and long eyelashes. Her dresses are silk and gold.  Our story begins the day she was in the garden.  There she was sitting and thinking of her Prince, when her maid Cindy rushes up to her and says, “Your ladyship, your father wants to see you.”  “Thank you Cindy; I will go see him right away.”    “Okay your ladyship.”  

Back at the throne room, Geronimo; the skinny, tall servant says, “your highness I think the Princess will be here any minute.”  Princess Naveda calls from the hallway, “Father.”  “Princess Naveda what took you so long?”  “I am sorry father I was in the garden thinking.”  The plump little king cuts her off and says, “I do not care what you were thinking about, that doesn`t cut it, next time you come the second I call you, okay?”   “Okay, Father as you wish.” The king still sitting in his throne sternly explains to Naveda the news.  “Now I wanted to tell you…” The princess interrupts the king, “What? What?”  The frustrated king clams his red cheeks with a big breath and continues to explain to the princess,  “ Naveda, you are going to be on TV.”  The Princess sighs and says, “Oh, okay.”  The king is shocked and says, “Oh okay? Aren’t you excited?”   Princess Naveda composes herself and says, “Thank you Father, but you must excuse me.”  The Princess goes to her chambers.

Cindy walks in and asks, “Your lady ship why are you crying?”  “Oh Cindy I…I thought he had my prince.”  “Well why don`t you tell the king how you feel?”  “But Cindy he will be mad at me.”  “Nonsense he will not be mad at you.” The Princess starts to say, “But…” Then Cindy says, ”Shhh…just go and tell him.”   The Princess leaves her chambers.
